A Community Gathering of Love, Loss & Remembrance

Join us for Amber NT’s Annual Walk to Remember, a meaningful event that gently opens Bereaved Parents Awareness Month. First initiated in 2010 by Taylah Peters in honour of her brother Kaden, the Walk has grown into a cherished day of remembrance, connection, and community.

💜 About the Walk

The Walk to Remember is a heartfelt space to honour and celebrate the lives of babies and children who are no longer with us. It offers a gentle opportunity for families and friends to come together, reflect, and support one another in a safe, inclusive setting.

Everyone is welcome – parents, siblings, extended family, friends, and community members who wish to walk in solidarity and remembrance.

🌼 Event Highlights

  • Family-Friendly Activities
Enjoy entertainment for all ages including a jumping castle and circus fun for the little ones.
  • Complimentary Bacon & Egg Breakfast
Start the morning with a shared breakfast and warm conversation.
  • Poem Reading & Bubble Release
A touching moment to reflect and release bubbles in memory of the children we carry in our hearts.
  • The Walk
A quiet and symbolic walk around the tranquil Sanctuary Lakes, offering space to connect with others who understand.

🙌 How to Participate

There’s no need to register in advance.
Please arrive from 9:00 AM and check in at the registration tent.
